I normally post a short and sweet Happy Friday Find before the weekend hits... This week I have a VERY happy Friday find - Giggleberry's BRAND NEW product!!

Currently we have sweet and fun little 'Jingle Bells' listed. You can choose from either Silver, Gold, Copper or Rainbow bells and I will firmly hand sew one to the points of each flag in your selected bunting banner - how fun. Just imagine these guys tinkling in the breeze outside or near an open window!

It's Tuesday and I can't wait..... to share my Top Secret new item!

You may have read in a recent post HERE that I have been working on a few new Top Secret items that will be listed in store soon.... I thought I'd give you all a little teaser sneak peek at one of them....

Hot off the sewing machine!

Check these out! I just love the Amy Butler Midwest Modern collection of fabrics and just couldn't resist making a few sets of banners with it! The pinks, creams and olive greens go so well together and when I matched them with the Farmers Market 'Henna Garden' fabric I had the perfect combination!

New, New, New!

Okay so I'm still pregnant.... I guess I've made this bub too comfy!!!! But in the mean time I have allot of restless sleep time to think of new items to make and yesterday I completed my first one - woo hoo!!

I have used the funky and gorgeous Michael Miller 'Sorbe Disco Dots' fabric as the back panel and matched it with shocking pink fabric for the front panel then embellished it with three flags made from the dots fabric on a shocking pink satin ribbon for a splash of fun!! See HERE for listing

I have been in a sewing frenzy over the past few days..... and have come out the other end with all kinds of flag sets and cushion covers!!

These four are my newest flags listed at Giggleberry Creations on Etsy:

I then came across some fabric I've been meaning to use for such a long time... firemen are always someone's favorite and get snapped up fast - number 1 and 3 in this photo set are already sold!

Next are special orders from my Aunty who has asked anyone who is crafty, arty or just wants to help to go through their stash of supplies and make ten of one thing to then be donated to her. She will then sell all the handmade items and all proceeds go to the charity her church has chosen to support for 2009.
I had no idea how much fabric I had just hanging around and was only too keen to help. The selling of these items won't happen until March but I figured while I was on a roll behind my sewing machine and before bubby arrives I'd get onto it! As you can see I have finished 6 sets... the final 4 just need their ribbon and I'll be all done!!!

Just like the Giggleberry's fabric banners you can have these cushion covers made in whatever colors or themes you desire.... they could even be made to match your Giggleberry banner!!


The cushion covers measure approx 14" wide and 16" tall and fit a size 16 or 40cm x 40cm cushion insert.
The in store listings are for the cushion cover only but if you would like me to purchase the insert for you I'd be happy to. Just contact me and I will add this to the listing at a small extra cost.

Spring has Sprung!

Today is the first day of Spring for me in Sydney, Australia and what a stunning day it has been to see in the new season!! After a rainy and dark weekend this morning the sun was beaming and the heater didn't go on all day - a rare thing lately. I even took the electric blanket off the bed!
To celebrate the spring season I listed three new sets of flags in my Etsy store today that couldn't be more 'Spring' like if I had tried. Colourful, bright, and cheerful are the words I'd use to describe them..... what do you think?
