It's always fun to find a new gorgeous fabric but even more so when it has bunting on it!

Check out this fun "Let's Fly Away" fabric by Anika Bee on Spoonflower. So cute and would make a lovely set of PJ pants for your little man don't you think?

Fabric shopping heaven

My sister has recently arrived home from a 5 week road trip through the US. Of course she had a ball and has oodles of stories to tell while we flick through her 100's of photos but when I flicked past these beauties I just had to go a little slower!




The photos are of an amazingly tidy, organised and HUGE fabric shop somewhere in San Francisco and looks allot like fabric shopping heaven to me.
Check out their front window - full of vintage sewing machines - so very cool!!


If it were me on this trip I would have needed to buy a second suitcase just to get the fabric I would have bought home ;)

New Fabrics

I had a parcel arrive on my doorstep earlier this week from Two Little Fairies Fabrics and I was excited before I even had it opened as I knew what was inside.
These stunning fabrics from Tanya Whelan's brand new 'Delilah' collection!!





It was really hard to pick only 4 fabrics from the entire collection - they are all delicious!


I can't wait to get cutting and sewing these!! I am always asked if I have any of the Ava Rose bunting left and sadly those fabrics are now 'out of print' but I think you would agree Tanya's latest fabrics are just as stunning and are bound to make some beautiful buntings! Yay!

Fabric Friday!

I think my addiction is starting to get a bit out of hand and I don't mind one little bit - my fabric addiction that is!
I have been shopping both on and off the web like crazy in the past week or two and have a pile of fabulous fabrics slowly growing next to my sewing machine.

I had a custom order I needed to go to my local fabric shop for so while I was there it seems a few, (well maybe a bit more than a few) more fabrics somehow ended up in the basket.... I then came home and had a rush of blood to the head that saw me empty the paypal account by buying even more fabric online!!
Now it's just a matter of waiting for my lovely postman to deliver my goodies. In the mean time here is a sneak peak of what my stash looks like....
