Happy Friday Find!

Getting close to the 1st of December now... that's when the Festive Season officially starts in our house. The tree goes up, the yard decorations go out, fairy lights galore are hung, advent calendars are begun and the christmas cards are sent out!
I try to send out a little card and family pic each year. A great way to 'catch up' with friends and family we might not see as often as we'd like to.

Maybe this year I need some of these cute Bunting Return Address Labels from Tallulah & Gage to make writing our my cards a little easier and quicker (and more festive too!)

Happy Friday Find!

This weekend we are off to my gorgeous Mother in law's home. Along with my sister in law's family we plan to do a whole lot of nothing! Eat food, chatter, catch up and watch our kids play together in the winter sunshine.

Maybe we could set up a little backyard picnic? Inspired by this find of one very cool Bunting picnic blanket handmade by Sewn Natural, it's just calling out for me to lie down and relax!

Handmade Family Portrait

My little girl, Milla, proudly presented me with a drawing she had created at pre-school when I picked her up one day a few weeks ago. The picture was a family portrait and one that took my breath away with how detailed she had been in each family member - she had obviously taken her time and really thought about what she was doing.

I immediately knew I wanted to keep the picture for as long as I could so I could adore it hanging in our home somewhere and also to show Milla is years to come what she so cleverly created (belly buttons and all) - but how? Laminate it? frame it? I decided to put it somewhere safe until I worked out what to do. As fate would have it, that night I spotted the perfect solution through Instgram. Cat from Wouldn't It Be Loverly takes pictures, just like Milla's, then hand stitches a copy of them onto fabric that can then be framed. I emailed Cat straight away and before I knew it Cat was sewing away!!!
Mr Postman arrived today with a parcel from Cat and once again I have had my breath taken away at such gorgeous work!! Cat has done an AMAZING job stitching Milla's drawing and the detail is honestly awesome (Cat you are one VERY clever lady).

I LOVE this sooooooo much and as soon as Milla wakes from her snooze I will be showing her and I can guarantee she will be one proud little girl. I will be keeping my eye on my little guys drawings once he starts pre-school next year because I would adore Cat to work her magic over one of his creations too!!!

Rain, rain go away. Come again another day. It has been one wet week here in Sydney and the forecast tells us there is more to come - 22 days with rain fall of the next 27 days!! Where is summer??

Happy (early) Friday Find

Tomorrow my little family and I will be up before the sun and hitting the road for a long weekend away to celebrate my sisters 30th tomorrow night, my brothers wedding on Sunday and everything in between - Yay! So to make life simple I figured I'd share this weeks Happy Friday Find a day early.

Remember the fun of riding your little bike around the street as a kid with streamers hanging from the handle bars, a piece of cardboard pegged to the spokes so it made a noise as it flicked and your little bicycle bell going *Ding, Ding* to signal to your little brother to move out of the way!? I do! So much fun!!


All these memories came flooding back when I spotted this awesome Bunting Garland Bicycle Bell hand made by Peppina Morgenschoen. So cool and clever, I would have loved this as a kid and if I owned a bicycle now I would have snapped this baby up in an instant!

Butterfly Party - Invitation: Part 2!

Step 1 of the invitations for Milla's Butterfly Party posted HERE was lots of fun and super easy so now to tell you about step 2 of the process... getting that photo and the party info to come together!!

I like the idea of having a little fun with the words on an invitation, it's a great way to get the guests in the mood for the day. So while blow drying my hair one morning (that's when I seem to come up with all my ideas) I played around with some butterfly words and the party details and came up with the following for the invitation....

My oh my,
we'd love you to flutter on by.
To celebrate with the little caterpillar,
who is now 4 year old butterfly Milla!

So then off to Etsy I went on the hunt for someone, much better with graphic design than me, to turn all these bits into a pretty invite. I fell in love with THESE Butterfly Number invitations from Luna Petunia Designs and grabbed them right away. Denise, who is the clever one behind Luna Petunia Designs, was absolutely wonderful with the designing - I just emailed her the photo and the wording, told her our colour theme and away she went - I'm thrilled with the result and Milla thinks they are rather fabulous too - what do you think??

If you are a 'liker' of the Giggleberry Creations Facebook Page then you may have seen THIS awesome Bunting Clock I shared the other week.


I LOVE it so it didn't take much to talk myself into buying one... Iris from Art Is Everything, who hand makes the clocks, can customise the designs so I asked her to make one in my Giggleberry logo colours and I am crazy about the above design she has come up with for my new clock that will tick tock proudly in Giggleberry HQ.

Today is mine and hubby's 5th wedding anniversary - awwwww ;) and just like on our wedding day the winter sun is shinning and today is a glorious day... I'm feeling the love!

I'm a total sucker for personalised stuff. When I was a kid I LOVED seeing my name on anything - cups, books, brooches. It was like it was only made for me (because clearly I was the only Amy in the world LOL).
I still love personalisation today but it's so much better now as you can get almost anything made with your name, details, photo on it - just like this VERY cool Flag Banner Custom Rubber Address Stamp from Note Trunk on etsy.


I am totally in love with this stamp and think I need it for stamping Giggleberry Creations parcels before they head out the door!!

Another Friday has rolled around - what are your plans for the weekend?
I plan to tick off a few jobs on my to do list including a few custom orders that I just *need* to go to my fav fabric shop for... wink, wink.
I think this rather cool Bunting Flag Messenger Bag from eesome would be the perfect thing for my fabric shopping sprees. I would have my hands free to gab all the gorgeous fabrics then would have a great non-plastic bag to carry them home while also looking rather fabulous.
