Changes to an Old Favorite!

Just wanted to let you know about a few slight changes I have had to make to one of the most popular Giggleberry buntings...


The shabby chic Ava Rose bunting using Tanya Whelan's gorgeous fabrics has had to change due to this fabric now being Out Of Print. This banner is still made in the pinks, whites and gray colour scheme and would still be super sweet in a little girls bedroom or nursery.


This is now a 'limited edition' banner - once I sell out of my current stock I can't promise I will be able to find fabric to make more - sorry. If you ahve admired this banner before and want to get your hands on one you better be quick... click HERE

Hot off the sewing machine!

Check these out! I just love the Amy Butler Midwest Modern collection of fabrics and just couldn't resist making a few sets of banners with it! The pinks, creams and olive greens go so well together and when I matched them with the Farmers Market 'Henna Garden' fabric I had the perfect combination!


Fresh from my sewing machine this morning are these three sets - all matching fabrics with either pink, green or cream grosgrain ribbon and all listed for sale at Giggleberry Creations!

I Made It!

I did it - I bit the bullet as they say and opened a Giggleberry creations shop on madeit.com. I have heard all kinds of reviews about Made It and decided there is only one way to find out if it's worth it or not... jump in!!


It's great to see lots of familiar faces on there and thanks to all who helped me work it all out - fingers crossed it's a success!

Yay, I now have a completed and fun animated blog badge/button thingy (very technical of me I know).
Only a few posts ago I asked for your assistance to decide on the wording for it - Thank you to all who gave suggestions, it made the process allot easier and I went with 'handmade fun fabric banners'... I figured that with the pictures as well I can't confuse to many people, right?

MINI 'Featured Artist' - Heather of My Designer Baby

As most of you know I do a 'Weekly Featured Artist' spot here every Monday highlighting just a sprinkling of the awesome and unique items out there in the great wide world. In my searches and 'blog jogging' for some of these items I have come across a like minded woman, Heather, who has built a fabulous website - My Designer Baby, an 'Online Baby Boutique for the Stylish Mother to Be'!
My Designer Baby states - "My Designer Baby caters to mothers unwilling to lose their sense of style during the child rearing years. Our featured designers have taken ordinary products and made them chic and savvy for the upscale mother. Baby essentials truly can be eye candy!"
I approached Heather about being one Giggleberry Creations 'Weekly Featured Artists' but since Heather herself does not make any of the items in her shop it is hard to answer most of those regular questions. So here is just a little bit about Heather 'MINI feature' style!


Tell us a little about yourself and your shop?
I go to trade shows and contract with designers to sell their products on my site. I am always looking for items that are fashionable and functional. I love fashion and the baby industry has exploded with new trendy, fun items for moms. I strive to find the most eye catching items for mothers and babies.

What is your favorite candy bar and why?
My favorite candy bar is not actually a candy bar, but Lindt truffles! These little truffles are so soothing and take me away from reality for awhile.

If money, responsibilities, and time were no issues where in the great wide world would you go & why?
I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world, but my favorite place are the beaches of Thailand. These beaches are truly paradise!
