Winter is officially here - I LOVE this season. An excuse to curl up on the couch under a blanket and drink hot chocolate is all I need to be a happy soul and this is one thing I have passed on to my babies who will quite regularly ask for a hot chocolate on a cold afternoon... maybe I should serve it to them in one of these adorable Childs Tea Set with Personalised Bunting

Last night I must have had a VERY restful sleep because I woke up this morning with way too much energy! After the usual eat-breakfast-get-kids-ready routine I jumped head first into Spring cleaning!
The whole family have had their cupboards cleaned out and we have 2 huge garbage bags of stuff to give to charity. Floors were vacuumed or mopped, windows and mirrors cleaned, bathrooms scrubbed and I even moved the two little kids rooms around just for fun!!


It feels great to get everything fresh, de-cluttered and clean. And to have it all done on a Friday leaves the whole weekend free to just enjoy Spring! which is where I found my inspiration for today's Happy Friday Find. 50m custom order of bunting!!

Early last week I was asked if I could fill a custom order. A custom order for 50 metres of brightly coloured bunting!
"Of course" I said and I jumped right in!!


With all the flags cut and pinned I was ready to sew!


It was a good feeling to be sewing the final flag of the 250 into place on the 50m ribbon!




My little 'assistant' wanted to snap some pics too (thanks Milla)



Hanging things on my clothes line has never been so festive!



This order is off in the post ready for the festival it was ordered for - Hooray!

Today is mine and hubby's 5th wedding anniversary - awwwww ;) and just like on our wedding day the winter sun is shinning and today is a glorious day... I'm feeling the love!

This Safari party by Daneve of Ah-Tissue is A-MAZ-ING!!

Planned and beautifully put together for Daneve's 3yr old little man, no detail was missed! Daneve decided on a safari theme as her son loves animals and bit by bit the party came together with heaps of re-used & recycled items as well as as many items she could use from businesses Daneve has found through Facebook. I was more than happy to be a part of the party plans when I was asked to make some custom animal print bunting - this was one VERY fun banner to fabric shop for :)

Over the weekend I did some serious re-organising, cleaning, moving around and tiding of Giggleberry HQ. It just feels nicer to walk into my sewing space with it all in order and ready to be used rather than in a shamble (which, believe me it was!)
In the re-organising process I decided I need to clear some older stock to make room for new designs and generally to create a bit more space to do the Giggleberry thing... Sooooooo it's time for a SALE!! Yay!!


This coming Wednesday the 8th of June at 8pm I will publish an album on the Giggleberry Facebook page HERE with a selection of Giggleberry buntings. There will be bargains galore!!

I think I could get addicted decorative tape - also known as masking tape, kawaii tape, deco tape or washi tape. I have seen oh so many colours, patterns and designs that would be amazing used on gifts, cards and packaging but have yet to buy any.
I think I have now found the perfect tape to start of a collection...
