Customer Feedback Photos

It seems market season is in full swing! Recently I have been asked to do so many banners for businesses holding a market stall all over the place. I am thrilled to help make their market stalls stand out even more with a bit of custom bunting and just love to see pics of the set up all put together. These are just some that I have received photos back of the bunting in action - Thanks all.

Trial Market set up - feedback please?

Giggleberry Creations will be making it's market debut at Mathilda's Market in Sydney on the 5th of Dec at Lane Cove (Yay). I'm thrilled to be able to show off and sell Giggleberry bunting in person for the first time and am busily sewing up as much stock as possible.
In the meantime I am slowly but surely getting together my market stall set up. There will be a trestle table supplied but the rest is up to me. I think I have 90% of what I wanted now so I decided to do a practice set up today while my babies slept to see if it would actually work out the way I had pictured in my head....

What do you think??

My wonderful brother whipped me up this stand for hanging and displaying my buntings (LOVE it)

I plan to show off some of my customer feedback photos on this gorgeous magnet board by Park Eden

The beautiful Samone of Red letter Studio has made me some 'As seen in...' & 'Published in...' signs to show off in the perspex frame on the end of the table

The buntings will be in these funky white Locker Baskets (from Sweet Little Birdy) for customers to flick through - I think I might need 1 or 2 more of these??

The awesome sign was printed off and laminated by my gorgeous father in law at his work... he also did a few smaller ones that I plan to maybe hang on the wall behind me (If I'm lucky enough to score a wall)

I have a few more bits and peices to add to the final look to make it 'pop' even more but I would be VERY grateful if you PLEASE leave some feedback via the comments about the set up - I'd love any and all ideas, suggestions and improvement ideas.
THANK YOU in advance.

Custom Ordered bunting for..... Me!

Giggleberry will be jumping in and having our very first market stall later this year (more on that when it gets closer) so I am slowly but surely getting my stall 'set-up' under control. There are so many tips and suggestions out there in blog land to help stall holders and I am trying to get my head around the best ideas for my products. I really like the tips and pictures in this great blog post I found on market stall set HERE from Dance In My Garden.

Of course a Giggleberry market stall would not be complete without some fun and eye catching bunting so after a hunt for polka dot & striped fabrics in pinks, purples and greens to match my logo I have been busily sewing, sewing sewing!

I am having two very cute aprons made to be worn on market day that will have my logo embroidered on them - (a BIG HUGE thanks to Jenny from Deekie Belle Designs for helping me with these). After we tested the logo embroidery, Jenny sent me the swatch of fabric to be sure I was happy with it so I turned it into one oversized flag that I then sewed into a row of bunting that will hang proudly at the front of my market stall!

What do you think? Very Giggleberry aren't they!?!

Custom Order - Sugar & Spice & all things nice!

I have just finished a custom set of banners for Sugar and Spice children's market.

The wizz behind this brand new market, Alison, asked if I could match the bunting to the gorgeous soft blues & dusty mushroom colours used in the Sugar and Spice logo and graphics.

I'm pretty please with the result and would LOVE to be at the inaugural market on June 20th to see them hanging up!

If you are a Melbournite or happen to be in the area on June 20 be sure to pop into St Ambrose Hall, Woodend, Victoria to check out all the gorgeous children's goodies - mostly handmade - that will be on offer from a wide range of talented designers.

Sugar and Spice... for all things nice!

Who doesn't love a good market? to casually wander around sipping a latte while taking a peek at the handmade goodies from all the different stall holders with no real intention other than to see what's on offer... and 9 times out of 10 find a whole array of unique items that you just had to buy - Bliss.
Now make the market a Children's market and add to that a 'Kids Corner' (where the kids will be entertained) which is right next to a 'Dad's Corner' (where hubby can sit and read the paper while keeping half an eye on the kids) and you have my idea of a weekend morning heaven!
"There is no such place" I hear you say... wrong! For those of you lucky enough to be in the Melbourne area your market prayers have been answered with the Sugar & Spice Children's Market!

A new boutique children's market in beautiful Woodend in Victoria. You will be delighted by the gorgeous and unique products for your children, many of them hand made by the lovely person you are buying them from.
Sugar & Spice market is also designed to help support and promote local small businesses that are producing lovely children products - and I have discovered that there are lots and lots of them!! Other gorgeous businesses from surrounding areas are also being sourced as I wish to provide a diverse range of beautiful stalls to the people shopping at the market - variety is the spice of life :)
Another aspect of the market is that any profits made will be donated to local charities (of course this is once marketing needs have been accounted for). I hope that by the market giving back to the local community, the local community will support the market.

This is where (if you can believe it) the Sugar & Spice markets gets even better! Alison, the gorgeous wizz behind these awesome markets has pledged the profits from both the inaugural markets in June and the September markets to Felicity & The Marathon of Autism!!! Wow, wow, wow!!

So by shopping at Sugar & Spice not only will you be purchasing gorgeous products for your children, you will also be supporting local businesses and charities! - That's Felicity!

Here are the details you'll need so be sure to pop it on your calendar, in your phone, in your diary, into your computer reminders... heck even put it on a post it and stick it to your bed head!

I'm Impressed, Mathilda!!

Wow! That is the best way to describe my experience at Mathilda's Market today. Held at the stunning St Ignatius' College, Riverview. Inside the main hall I was impressed form the minute I spotted the kiddie petting farm and jumping castle out the front.

I have been meaning to visit a Mathilda's Market for a while now and since there are only three held a year I decided it was time to get off my but and check it out so I took my two little ones and was blown away at the gorgeous and quality kids items for sale and the HUGE amount of shoppers.
From clothing to toys, party ideas to art works and even yummy gourmet cupcakes there was bound to be something for absolutely every child, parent or grandparents taste.
I walked away with a few finds. A funky nappy cover from Barefoot Babies for Harrison made from a trucks and cars fabric that has been put away for a Christmas gift and will be perfect in summer when it's too hot to wear anything but a nappy. Even better, it was in their 'bargain bin' so I saved a few $$$. The find of the day though was my new fabulous 'b.box'. Such a great idea - I LOVE it!!

I could have gone bananas shopping but controlled myself (Hubby is grateful, lol) but I did a few more laps of the hall for a bit of 'research' and have now applied to have a stall at the next Mathilda's Market in Sydney, which is in November. Fingers crossed Giggleberry Creations is lucky enough to be picked as one of the stalls.... I'll let you know.

For those of you not in Sydney there are Mathilda's Markets in Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Melbourne too.
