'What A Day For A Daydream' is how this photo shoot was styled by Colour Cues, Bellezza Interiors, 3 Mockingbirds Designs, Frangipani Designs and me - Giggleberry Creations.
We had lots of fun in the Sydney sunshine on a Tuesday a few weeks ago playing with fabrics, cushions, glassware, props, turkish delight, flowers and of course bunting to create an outdoor space that you could just get lost n for hours and hours!

We are thrilled to finally show off the finished shoot in the latest issue of tickle the imagination online magazine that was released last Saturday. Check out all the gorgeous images on pages 10-17 HERE

Media - Woman's Day magazine

Purely by the kindness of Alison from Sophie & Jack Designs (thank you lovely) I discovered that Giggleberry Creations bunting is in this weeks Woman's Day magazine.

A lovely surprise indeed! On pages 86-87 the Strawberries and Cream bunting is pictured among a few other gorgeous handmade items in an article all about online selling of handmade goodies.

I popped into my local newsagent this morning to grab a copy on the way home from the school run - Yay!

It's always a treat to spot my Giggleberry Creations buntings in print - how can you help but smile to see something you made with your own hands being shared with others?!?

The latest Shop 4 Kids Magazine went on sale yesterday. It's the 2013 Autumn/winter edition and you'll find some Giggleberry Rainbow Bunting on page 124 as part of the 'We Like to Party' feature.

I LOVE this mag no matter if my products are in it or not and have had a quick flick through the pages once already but plan to pour myself a cup of green tea and sit in my comfy armchair in just a moment and read it from cover to cover again!!

What a lovely surprise it was this afternoon to spot Giggleberry Creations in the latest issue of Shop 4 Kids magazine. I always buy this mag and grabbed a copy this morning on a quick dash into the shops but didn't get a chance to sit and enjoy flicking the pages until this afternoon in the gorgeous Spring sunshine.

As I perused the gorgeous pages and mentally made a Christmas shopping list I came to 'The Perfect Party Guide' on pages 136-141 and spotted Giggleberry Creations listed under 'Decorations & Tableware' - how cool!

Who has a copy of the latest issue of Shop 4 Kids? It came out on Monday and is once again a great read - I always find something new or unique in this mag!


Anyway if you have a copy (& if not, I suggest you grab one) flick to the party inspirations pages especially page 160 where you'll spot some Giggleberry Creations Pastel Polka Dot bunting as part of The Lorax party themed page. Yay!

Media: Woman's Day

Spotting Giggblerry Creations products in media is always a thrill but even more when it's completely un-expected. Last night I had a phone call from my gorgeous mum. She was flicking through this weeks Woman's Day magazine and was pretty sure she had spotted some Giggleberry Ribbon Garlands.


On the way home from the kids swimming lessons today I grabbed a copy of the mag to see if mum was right - and she was!
Page 81 has a Giggleberry orange ribbon garland above a selection of Hasbro toys! Very cool!

Do yourself a favor the next time you have a free moment - grab a cup of tea, sit back and flick through the latest issue of Babiekins Magazine that came out today.

Filled with gorgeous items from cover to cover this online magazine is 'for the trendsetting child' - be sure to flick slowly past pages 63-64 HERE as you might just spot some Giggleberry Creations bunting in the 'Do Colour' feature - Yay!

Guest blog post DIY tutorial

Remember my little girls Rainbow of Ribbons party from HERE? After the fun day I shared the details of the party on the fabulous party website Catch My Party.


Jillian, who runs Catch My Party, recently asked if I would write and share a tutorial for making the Ribbon Wreath that I made and hung on our front door for the rainbow party and of course I jumped in- FUN!

The Purple Pug has got a crush on me...

Tied With A Ribbon

Through my planning and bloging about Milla's Rainbow of Ribbons birthday party coming up in late November I have been lucky enough to meet the very lovely and VERY clever Jemima of Tied with a Ribbon


Like many of us 'micro business' owners Jemima started Tied with a Ribbon after her handmade creations were ohh'd and ahh'd at by many friends and family members. Jemima told me that earlier this year a special friend of hers gave her the "very big push" she needed to take the leap and start a business - Yay!

Now in my last post I told you about the Pass the Parcel game I had planned ready for Milla's party but I also said I would tell you more about the final prize that is in the parcel in another post - this is it:


One of Tied with a Ribbon's latest Hairclip Hangers. How PERFECT is it!?! Rainbow? Check. Ribbons? Check. Gorgeous? Check!
When I asked Jemima about her Hairclip Hangers she told me "My Favourite item to make at the moment would have to be these Hairclip Hangers. I love choosing fabrics, ribbon and felt to create an individual and gorgeous way to tidy up those hairclip boxes always overflowing with ribbons and clips." And you can tell - the fabrics are gorgeous and the handiwork that has gone into these padded fabric hangers is faultless! My fav bit is that this hanger would hold soooooo many clips (perfect for my little girls collection!) and it can also hold the sweet ribbons girls love to tie in their hair.

Seriously, think Christmas gifts for all the little girls you know - they will LOVE these I'm sure.

Giggleberry has been 'approved' by Handmade Living!

What a great way to start the weekend! I have just received an email from Tania, one of the three clever women behind Handmade Market's first ever publication... handmade living.


"handmade living. is a beautiful new creation that combines the inspiration and talents of handmade designers living in Canberra and also interstate.
Its pages will be lush with stunning creations to share and inspire. A hardcover, beautifully photographed and illustrated tome (thanks to the talents of Tina Snerling), we will be working hard over the coming months to put together a book you will be proud of - and a book that will showcase your talents as a designer.
Providing how-tos, information and breathtaking inspiration, we know handmade living. will become a staple Australian publication for lovers of style, beauty and stunning creations, handmade with care."


How amazing does this book sound!?! When I read that "handmade living. will be a book that is different to anything else on the market. It will be a little bit Martha, a little bit Donna and a whole dose of unique style: not seen anywhere else in Australia" I wanted a copy right away so I thought I'd jump in and apply to be a part of the book....
Awesome news - Giggleberry was APPROVED! Yippee!

Now I need to get some product photos ready and sent off then sit back and wait as Tania, Julie & Tina work their little butts off putting the book together as it is expected to be released by early December this year!

The closest I'll come to being a 'Cover Model'

I have been meaning to say a HUGE thank you to the amazing women behind the great online magazine Connect2Mums for asking me to be the Connect2Mums 'Cover Mum' for April - What a massive compliment!
Connect2Mums is somewhere as a mum you will find all kinds of great things - support, ideas, advice, friends, fellow WAHM's, inspiration.... and lots more!


I was asked to write a little bit about being a mum, Giggleberry Creations and (as April is Autism Awareness month) I was asked to tell all the Connect2Mum members about our Running the Marathon of Autism campaign for Felicity - if you'd like to see what this 'Cover Mum' has to say check it out HERE.
Again I say THANK YOU to Connect2Mums for the honor of being a 'Cover Mum' - the closet thing I'll get to being a cover model :)
