Goodness it's been a while since my last post!
So much seems to be happening at once... There have been custom orders galore heading out the door, our Mac died after 6 years of faithful service (I'm writing this post from our brand new shiny iMac - it's VERY swish!), new OOAK buntings listed in the etsy shop HERE and I have been making a conscious choice every day to leave my iPhone and computer to the side as I spend quality time with my growing kids. Milla starts 'big school' next year so this time with her and her little brother, Harris, is precious and I don't want to miss one bit.
So as you can see there is LOTS going on in life with our young family and Giggleberry Creations keeping me on my toes.... and speaking of toes I have officially started my 18 week training program to prepare for my first ever Half Marathon in September this year.
With snazzy new shoes (these babies glow in the dark!!) I have been running further and further and trying to pick up speed on most mornings of the week before the family have rolled out of bed. It's tough to get going in the cold morning (I am sooooo not a morning person) but once I get moving I feel fantastic and love that I get the 'me time' to start the day in such a way.
The Half Marathon isn't until the 16th of September and it will be tough but I can't wait! I will be doing it for Running The Marathon of Autism to raise money along the way for my step daughter Felicity and her Son-Rise Program for her autism... would you like to know more? would you like to sponsor me? check out our website HERE for all the details on Felicity and her journey so far.
On that note I will leave you once again - I will be sure to pop in to keep you up to date as things happen but until then I will be playing with my babies, running further and sewing up a storm. xx

Happy Friday Find!
It's getting chilly here - winter is absolutely on it's way. I LOVE winter and have a rather large collection of scarves which are my fav way of adding a warm layer on a cold day.
How about this cute and fabulous Bunting Scarf - LOVE it!

Mother's Day Classic
Happy belated Mother's Day to all the mummies out there - how was your day? did you get lots of kisses and hugs?
I was up bright and early and popped on my running gear ready for the Mother's Day Classic!! It was a rather fresh morning waiting for the train to take my sister in law, Julia, and I to Parramatta Park ready for the 8km run to begin but worth it.
We finally convinced each other to take our jackets of to revel our awesome singlets I designed with the help of Christina from Billy Mac Clothing and I just had to ask a friend we saw at the park to snap some pics of us.
The park was covered in people wearing pink and with such a family friendly positive vibe in the air the event was one I'll be a part of every year!!
I managed to cross the finish line in 43mins and then headed home to my babies and to celebrate Mother's Day with the gorgeous lady we ran for: my Mother in law, Janette, who kicked Breast Cancers butt!!! Woohoo!!!!
I think we might have convinced Billy Mac Clothing designer, Christina to run it with us next year too :)

Customer Feedback Photos
Early last week I was asked to make 20 metres of 'garage sale inspired' bunting - what fun! It was for Saturday's Garage Sale Trail and was lots of fun to put together as it was such a mix of flags.
It's always a thrill to see the custom ordered buntings I put together 'in action' and this had a little extra kick with a few celebs in the pics too!

Bonfire Night!
Last night we put on our winter woolies and headed to my sister's house which is on a 5 acre block for the kids first ever Bonfire Night.
My sister and her hubby have been building the 'bonnie' for months with dead trees and bits of old timber from here and there and the pile was rather impressive when we arrived just as the sun was setting.
We lit it up just as the sun dipped below the horizon and all the kids were in awe as the flames went up!
Sparklers, pizza, light sticks, beanies, cousins, torches, gumboots, full moon, trailer rides, marshmallows, sleeping bags & lots of giggles in the dark made for one memorable night!!
