Things happen in 3's

That's how the saying goes right?? - 'Things happen in 3's'.... well I have proven it in the past week or so. I have been the lucky winner of three separate giveaways from three different blogs that I read often. So I wanted to do a little 'shout out' to say thanks to not only the blogs who hosted the giveaways but to the generous artisans who the giveaways are from.

The first one I won you might have already read about in one of my 'It's Tuesday and I can't wait' posts when I was waiting for it to arrive in he mail. After entering the giveaway on The Aussie Handmade Giveaway blog from The Delicious Collective I won this gorgeous and funky 'Bubble Dress' in a size 2 - just perfect for Milla who is 19 months old! This dress is very sweet with a white long sleeve shirt underneath and a pair of tights for these cooler days.

Giveaway number two was from Kathleen over at Heavenly Handmades blog, Kathleen is the wizz behind Felt Food Creations and also does product reviews for Uncle Toby's. So when a box of Uncle Toby's Fruit Fix bars arrived for 'testing' Kathleen decided to share them out to others - 6 others actually, Yum Yum!!

The latest giveaway I was lucky enough to win was hosted by Sally of Polka Dot Mom blog
It was a $25 gift certificate for a vinyl decal from Quote the Walls! Hooray!! I had such a fun (but tough) time picking the perfect vinyl decal.... I couldn't decide on one for the lounge room, or one for hubby and my bedroom or one for the dining room or kitchen then finally decided on this one for my son's room that I am slowly putting together with a nautical/pirate theme

Thanks to all of the blogs and shops that were giving these fun goodies away!! I LOVE them all!!......... gotta run now though - more giveaways to enter.... lol

It's Tuesday and I can't wait.....

I know, I know this is a day late (well maybe not depending where in the world you are lol) but I still had to play along because the thing I couldn't wait for yesterday is the same reason I didn't post this..... My internet connection!!! We are on a monthly plan with a cable connection so the speed is great but once we use up our limit the connection slows down sooooooo much! This month we used up our limit so much earlier than usual (all that you tube watching hehehehe) so we have upgraded - Yay! and it started as of midnight last night!!

Oh and the other thing I can't wait for is this gorgeous bubble dress from The Delicious Collective.

I won it from the great new The Aussie Handmade Giveaway blog - Goodie!!

Christmas gifts in the making....

Some people think I'm a little crazy other think I'm annoyingly organized but either way I'm having fun doing it.... I have started shopping and making things ready for Christmas gifts!
This is one I had to share... I found an easy tutorial on how to make this gorgeous Playmat HERE. So thanks to paypal and Etsy I bought a yard each of the fun Merryville & Street Stripe fabrics by Michael Miller and got to sewing.... I finished the final bits of hand sewing last night while sitting on the couch with a glass of wine and LOVE how it has turned out!!

It will be packed away now into the secret gift cupboard ready for my little man to tear open at Christmas time!

'Big girl' bed!

Milla's new 'big girl' bed arrived late yesterday afternoon to a very curious little girl.....

So as soon as Daddy walked in the door from work he and Milla got to work building.....

It had to be tested for durability and safety of course.....

Looks like it passed the test.....

We didn't hear a peep after putting Milla to bed.....

until tiny footprints came into our bedroom first thing this morning!

Tummy Time!

Everyday I try to give Harrison a bit of 'Tummy Time' to build up his strength. I lay out a blanket on the rug and pop him on his belly then most of the time Milla and I lay with him and we all have a chat...

I did this just like every other day late last week and after a good play on his tummy Harrison was tired so I picked him up and settled him down for a snooze in the cot. When I came back into the family room Milla was being a good 'mummy' to her teddies and dolls and giving them their 'Tummy Time' turn!
